The mythical treat from a nunnery in Bordeaux makes its way here!  Legend has it that industrious nuns swept fallen four into these magical little cakes that come coated in beeswax and butter, and our version of this historically “canal” shaped mini cake has two main differences: we use clean flour from a sack, and they are made by someone who is most definitely not a nun.  The crisp coating that gives way to a custard-like, rich buttery, vanilla center? That’s as authentic as it can get.  Available for local pick up, so no need to get thee to a nunnery 🙂  Order comes with 6 canneles- each one is about the size of a cupcake.  If you would like to order in bulk, please contact us!
