- Even if it isn’t snowing for Christmas, you can enjoy the delicate designs of snowflakes by making some yourself! Coffee filters folded up and cut out make amazing shapes, and after unfolding you can add glue and glitter to make them even more sparkly! Have fun and experiment!
If you would like to make a snowflake to catch on your tongue, just use tortillas instead. Cut, brush with oil and pop in a 400 degree oven for 5-8 minutes. Immediately sprinkle with powdered sugar (or a mix of cinnamon and sugar for a yummy option) and snack away!
Do a snowflake scavenger hunt (or any other holiday symbol you want!) and see how many you can find in pictures, on a walk or on TV! There are even a few on this page to help you get started!
