Halloween countdown day 25, oh mummy!
If your little goblins are anything like mine, they are super picky about what they gobble. This is a very kid friendly, easy but with a lot of bang for your buck food hack that I love: just wrap hotdogs in crescent roll dough and bake in the oven at 350 for 11 minutes. The little people in the house get what they want, and it couldn’t be easier to make it a totally mummy theme night. While mummies are supposed to last forever, these are such perfect combination of hotdog and buttery roll, they will go fast. I added some candy eye balls, but cream cheese and cut up olives would work, if your kids will eat it! My one son loved adding ketchup to the plate to make an even more ghoulish treat.
Serve these adorable and filling guys up, turn on The Mummy with Brendon Fraser and Rachel Weisz on and enjoy the feeling of being the best mummy ever! The Mummy has a bit of everything I love, a witty heroine who happens to be a librarian, dumb jokes and thousand year old forbidden love that curses the world and did I mention Brendon Fraser? I am hoping to watch the original from the 1930s this month, too. I can’t wait to see which version is the best of the best!
