warm up your milk in microwave and scoop in your coconut oil so it melts, pour into standing mixing bowl with paddle attachment
place your yeast in warm water for 5 minutes
add all ingredients except the flour and paddle until combined
add in half the flour and paddle until combined
add the other half of the flour, paddle for a couple minutes then switch to the hook attachment and knead until it starts to pull away from the bowl
place in a well oiled bowl, cover with a tea towel and set in a warm place for 1 hour, so it can double in size. dough will be sticky.
after an hour turn dough out onto a well floured surface and pat into a square about 1/4'' thick
cut into desired shapes
let these shapes rise in warm place for 1/2 hour
heat oil in dutch oven or deep, heavy pan. oil needs to hit 365F and stay there (you might need to turn your burner on and off to keep it from getting too hot or cool)
drop in 3 doughnuts art a time, leave in for 1 min each side (flip with tongs or spatla, the oil is hot! take care!)
glaze and top to your hearts content!
to make the glaze just stir together confectioners sugar and milk until smooth- stir a bit more than you think you can before adding more milk to thin it if needed. if you make it too thin, throw in some handfuls of confectioner's sugar until it drizzles comfortably, not too fast, not to thick.
